THE POLLENIZE MISSION IS TO DELIVER NATURE-LED REMEDIES TO HELP POLLINATING INSECTS RECOVER SO OUR ENVIRONMENT CAN FLOURISH:

🐝 Pollenize uses the power of community and science to fight against pollinator decline.

🐝 Pollenize promotes and protects all pollinator species by bridging the gap between people and science to provide tangible solutions for our climate emergency.

🐝 Our work involves extracting data from our beehives for betterment of the natural environment whilst coordinating community beekeeping, citizen science and public-led rewilding schemes. 

🐝 Our research on the honey bee will be used as a bioindicator of the health of our environment and as a vehicle to green recovery.

THE NATIONAL POLLINATOR STRATEGY

The NPS was created in 2014 by DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs).

It lays out a national framework to help conserve and promote pollinator populations.

Pollenize aligns its work with this strategy in five key ways laid out below.
